A Young Man Receives A "Driving Under The Influence" Arrest And Makes Up His Mind To Hire A "Drunk Driving" Lawyer

Although Franklin wasn't a lawyer, he told his son that he learned the hard way when as a young man he received a DUI, represented himself in the local court, paid twenty-five hundred dollars in fines and penalties, and served 90 days in the local city jail. When Lawrence heard his father explain this, it was as if his eyes were opened for the first time about the importance of hiring a "drunk driving" lawyer. Near the end of their conversation, Lawrence said that he was beginning to understand more about DUI laws and what DUI attorneys can do for an individual who has received a "drunk driving" arrest.

After getting "schooled" about "driving under the influence" arrests, the role of "driving under the influence" lawyers, and the fact that he didn't have to agree to take any field sobriety tests at the time of his arrest, Lawrence decided that he would without a doubt hire a DUI attorney to represent him in court. Something else, however, took place after he had talked to his dad. Lawrence at last began to understand the serious nature of "driving under the influence" arrests and, as a result, he arrived at a decision that from this point forward, he would always drink in moderation so that he would never again have to experience another "driving under the influence" arrest.

His dad smiled at Lawrence and mentioned the following: "Lawrence,it took me until I was fifty-five years old to realize what you just told me. I am very proud of you." This did wonders for his self esteem and so Lawrence thanked his father and then said, "if I can always drink in moderation, I will never need to hire a drunk driving attorney again!"

Regrettably, there was one issue that neither Lawrence nor his father considered, namely, if Lawrence is displaying any alcohol abuse signs or maybe if he is manifesting any of the typical signs of alcoholism. In fact, if Lawrence is manifesting any alcohol signs that point to alcohol abuse or alcoholism, he will probably need alcohol rehabilitation.

In truth, Lawrence may be mandated by the court to get rehabilitation for his unhealthy and excessive drinking. The good news, however, is that whatever it takes to deal with his abusive drinking, it seems that Lawrence will be highly motivated to do the "right" thing.
